Essence of Life

It rained today and our fields are as green as they have ever been. We are starting to get flowers on our pumpkin plants and the horses are all happy as well as the slugs! As I sit here in Seattle and watch the rain fall and listen to all my neighbors and friends complain; I realize how little we understand of the importance of weather systems all over the earth. Rain in the city may be a nuissance, but in the country it is the essence of life.

Annual Luncheons at Ashley Inn

The Ashley Inn is host to several annual luncheons. The food is cooked and served onsite and every group receives a tour of the home.
